2021 HOUSE LEAGUE (BEARS)

Unfortunatley, Dr Bonnie Henry's announcement on Feb 5, 2021 did not go the way we had hoped. Currenlty we are unable to safely run our house league under the current Covid restrictions. Therefore, WE DO NOT HAVE ANY NEW INFORMATION REGARDING HOUSE LEAGUE.

We will post any new information here when it is available. Please check back for updates rather than email PGYVC.

PGYVC UPDATE: COVID-19, April 23, 2020

As we are all well aware, the COVID-19 pandemic has had a huge effect on everyone. We hope all of our members are safe and healthy during this difficult time. PGYVC will continue to be in contact with our Provincial Sport Organization, Volleyball BC, and follow their lead when it comes to getting back to playing volleyball. Here is a brief outline of where things are in regards to the sport up to May 31, 2020:

  • 13-18U Kodiaks (boys and girls): Volleyball BC Super events, Volleyball BC Provincial Championships, VC National Championships and all practices have been cancelled. PGYVC is currently waiting for Volleyball Canada to refund Nationals entry fess. Once that happens we will be issuing a cheque to each Kodiak team manager who will then safely arrange to get that to the athetes in exchange for the PGYVC jerseys.

  • Pee Wee, Bantam, Juvenile House League (boys and girls): All practices and league play have been cancelled. Once the Provincial government gives the go-ahead to resume these types of group activity we will decide whether or not we can go ahead with the Bears Year End Tournament.

PGYVC hopes that all members are doing there part to help get through this. Please stay safe and healthy.
